Formed in 1984 by an enthusiastic gathering of local rev heads the Loxton Kart Club held its first meeting on Sunday 
March 24th 1985.  Held in perfect conditions there were an estimated 1500 people present.  A total of 166 nominations 
were received for the 52 event program,  at the time this was a record for a dirt kart meeting with drivers coming from 
Keith, Angaston, Morgan and the Riverland to take part.  The Loxton Kart Club prides itself on being a family friendly 
club, with the priority being fun in karting. 

We openly welcome all interested people of all ages and gender to come and try this fun affordable form of motor sport.

Karts are available after each race meet for those interested in trying this adrenaline pumping sport
